ROMSAM Engineers was established with a clear mission: to provide Indian textile manufacturers with high-quality, domestically-produced spare parts that match or exceed OEM specifications. Recognizing the long lead times and high costs associated with imported components, our founder set out to develop a comprehensive range of import-substitute products for weaving preparatory machines, drawing machines, and looms.
Over the years, we have grown from a small workshop into a fully-equipped manufacturing facility, serving textile mills across India and select international markets. Our product portfolio now covers over 19 distinct spare parts across four major machinery categories — Sizing Machines, Warping Machines, Drawing Machines, and Looms — along with custom manufacturing services for gears, shafts, pulleys, and other precision components.

Avinash Mangalkar is a Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience working with textile machine manufacturing companies. He specializes in weaving preparatory machines and has deep expertise in the design, maintenance, and upgradation of sizing, warping, and drawing equipment.
During the establishment of ROMSAM Engineers, he successfully developed import-substitute items for weaving preparatory machines, drawing machines, and looms — replacing costly imported components with domestically-manufactured alternatives that match OEM performance at a fraction of the cost.
He has also successfully commissioned various assignments for weaving preparatory machine upgradation of existing machines, focusing on improvements in efficiency, yarn parameters, and consumption parameters.
